Meet our Staff of Professionals
Founder and owner of PT Dynamics, Jeff opened the doors in 2004 as a licensed physical therapist specializing in physical therapy and sports medicine. He enjoys the challenge of evaluating each patient's specific injury and finding the fastest and most effective path back to health. As a sports physical therapist, he is proud to get his athletes back to their specific sports as fast as possible. Jeff has been fortunate to work on the field with the Newbury Park football team as well as supervise an ACL prevention program for the breakaway club soccer team in the West Valley as well as El Camino girls soccer team. He has also had the pleasure of providing physical therapy for the rising stars basketball club and Kings Tae Kwon Do in Chatsworth.
Mr. Dunbar earned his bachelors degree in Health Science/Physical Therapy from California State University Northridge. Prior to opening PT Dynamics, Jeff worked at West Valley Orthopedics and Sports Medicine for Dr. Bernard Diamond, Dr. Robert Fields, and Dr. Evan Bachner. He was the Clinical Manager at West Valley Orthopedics and specialized in shoulder, knee, and spine rehabilitation. Prior to West Valley Orthopedics, Jeff worked at Cedar Sinai Medical Center where he split his case load between neurological and orthopedic.
Jeff is happily married to a nurse and they have three very active boys. Jeff treasures his free time and enjoys playing hockey, skiing with his family, and coaching all his boys' sporting activities.
PTA and Clinic Manager who helps run day-to-day operations and oversees treatment quality. Zach Graduated in January 2014 from Casa Loma college as class Salutatorian and is a current board member of the Casa Loma PTA program. He enjoys teaching and working with students and is a clinical instructor for various PTA programs in the area. Zach also spends some time working at a skilled nursing facility providing physical therapy. Most days outside of the office you will find Zach on his dirtbike or dual sport bike looking for a adventure. Past sports include football, soccer, baseball, and track events like hurdles, shot put, discus, and javelin.
Licensed Massage Therapist and Personal Fitness Trainer for 9 years. Travell graduated from UCLA with a degree in physiology. He has worked on celebrities Jessie Usher, Daniel Smith, Chris Brown, and Reggie Bush. He is also looking to further his knowledge in physical therapy in hopes to become a therapist.
PT Aide at PT Dynamics. Marina received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology with an emphasis in Physical Therapy from Mount Saint Mary's University. After graduating, her passion for therapy brought her to PT Dynamics. Today she loves working as a PT Aide, and hopes to continue her education to attain a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in the near future. In her free time, you can find Marina climbing a rock wall or kicking things with her 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwondo.
